Carmelo Malave

Mr. Carmelo Malave most affectionately kown as "Negro" passed away on February 15, 2024 in Davenport, Florida. He was born on February 5, 1940 in Hatillo, Puerto Rico to his parents, Otilio Malave and Maria Soto.

Mr. Malave was retired from 30 years of service as a Material Cutter. He enjoyed planting and attending church at Iglesia Cristiana Casa Del Altisimo in Haines City, FL.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Otilo Malave and Maria Soto, his son, Melvin Malave, and his 4 siblings, Virginia Malave, Otga Malave, Dora Malave and Gloria Malave.

He leaves his loving and devoted wife of 34 years, Rosa Gutierrez, his children, Carlos Malave, Roberto Malave, Esther Malave, Melvin Malave, Richard Malave, Henry Malave, his siblings, Luis Malave, Miguel Malave, Nilda Malave and Margarita Malave and a host of  family and friends to cherish his memories.

The Celebration of Life for Mr. Carmelo Malave will be held on Sunday, February 18, 2024 from 12 noon to 3:00 p.m. at Richard Funeral Services 233 North 9th Street Haines City, FL 33844.
