Chosen Kyng Morris

January 5, 2021 — February 22, 2025

In the tender embrace of time, we come together to honor and celebrate the life of Chosen Kyng Morris, a radiant beacon of joy and spirit, whose journey was as brief as it was profound. Born on January 5, 2021, Chosen graced our lives with his indomitable spirit until his untimely departure on February 22, 2025. In the short span of four years, he etched his presence into the hearts of many, filled with laughter, adventure, and an unfathomable love that will be cherished eternally.

Chosen possessed a natural charisma that was infectious, captivating all who encountered him with his beautiful smile and his delightful sense of humor. His days were marked by playful pranks that would ignite laughter and joy in those around him. His adorable, contagious laugh had the remarkable ability to transform even the dullest moments, infusing them with light and happiness. Friends and family reflect on their fond memories of Chosen, stating, “We loved everything about Chosen," a testament to the love that enveloped him.

Though he had not yet stepped foot into the formal educational sphere, Chosen exhibited an insatiable thirst for knowledge. Every morning, he filled the office with excitement, eagerly wielding his brother's iPad to explore the wonders of ABC Mouse and Lingo Kids. Such curiosity and determination spoke to the essence of Chosen as a natural leader and an inspiring figure among his peers. His physical vigor and boundless energy shone brightly, making him a source of strength, love, and bravery to all who were fortunate enough to know him.

In his brief but impactful existence, Chosen cultivated hobbies that demonstrated his spirited nature. He reveled in the joy of playing games, dancing to the rhythms of “Just Dance” alongside his beloved siblings, immersing himself in the playful worlds of Bluey, Paw Patrol, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. His sense of adventure took flight during travels, where he joyfully embraced every moment, leaving a vivid memory of his happiness swimming in the warm waters of the Bahamas, his spirit soaring as he delighted in such simple pleasures.

Chosen’s proudest accomplishments were testified by his family; the vision of him excitedly counting to fifty, and donning his cherished gold chain, revealed the unbounded joy he found in discovery and self-expression. His legacy is an indelible mark on the tapestry of his loved ones’ lives, a beautiful soul who inspired bravery, love, and strength.

He leaves behind a community of devoted family members who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts: Robert Morris Jr., his loving father; Quantia Morris, his caring mother; his siblings Serenity Morris and Amar'e Morris, who will remember him through their shared adventures; his grandparents, including Robert Morris Sr. and Sylvia Love, as well as Gwen Moore-Pech and Elrice Pettis Sr.; a constellation of aunts— Sheila, Sylvia, Christina, Shay, Shanquisha, Quintasia, and Shariyah; along with uncles such as Elrice Jr., Denzel, Ronnie Jr., Ricky, Carl, Xavier, Dashawn, Jermaine, Jamal, Quintez, Savon, Quinshawn, and Quintarez; and a cherished gathering of relatives, cousins, and friends, all touched by his delightful essence.

A Celebration of Life service will be held to honor Chosen on March 9, 2025, commencing at 12:00 PM at Richard Funeral Services, located at 233 N. 9th Street, Haines City, FL, 33844.
