Efrain Colon Barrientos

Efrain Colon Barrientos most affectionately known as "Frank" passed away on October 6, 2024 in Lakeland, Florida at the age of 73. He was born on May 21, 1951 in Dorado, Puerto Rico to his parents, Eusebio Colon and Iris Delia Barrientos.

Later, Efrain met and married the love of his life, Iris Colon. Efrain was hard-working and dedicated. He served our grateful country in the United States Army for 22 years. Despite his many responsibilities, he always made time for his family and his passions. He enjoyed spending his free time reading the bible and watching bible reels. Efrain also loved and cared for his plants and flowers. Though Efrain may not have liked being the center of attention, he deserves to have his long years of fatherly love honored. He was a man of wisdom, integrity, kindness, generosity and he left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

Efrain was preceded in death by his Dad, Eusebio Colon and his son Josue Colon.

Efrain Colon Barrientos leaves his loving wife of 27 years, Iris Colon; his mother, Iris Delia Barrientos; his daughters, Iris Colon & Blanca Hernandez; his sons, Efrain Colon Jr., Daniel Colon, Gabriel Colon and Angel Hernandez; his grandchildren, Mariah, Nali, Angel Jr., Gabriel Jr., Selena, Irianalis, Luis, Karina, Efrain (PoPo), his great-grandchildren, Josiah & Neyon; his 2 sisters Basilia O'Farrel & Ernestina Colon and a host of other relatives, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends to cherish his legacy.

A visitation for family will be held for "Frank" on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. at Richard Funeral Services. The Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Richard Funeral Services 233 North 9th Street Haines City, FL 33844.
