She was a remarkable individual whose resilience, big heart, and attitude toward life served as an inspiration to everyone who knew her. Hilda's infinite joy radiated from her as she dedicated herself to both family and community, always offering help and support wherever it was needed.

She was a devoted wife to her husband, Ruben Cosme, and a loving mother to her daughters, Shirley Cosme and Yamilette Toledo. Hilda took immense pride in her family, cherishing the moments spent with her grandchildren: Yamirielys Campbell, Shirleyann Perez, Yamnel Velez, Julian Toledo, and great-grandsons, Xavier Campbell and Zayden Campbell. Her dedication to her family was evident in all that she did, and she was immensely proud of her daughters and grandchildren.

Hilda is survived by her siblings, Carmelo Montanez, Miriam Montanez, Norma Montanez, Hipolito Crespo, and Hector Richard Alvarez, who, along with her rich legacy of love and kindness, will remember her fondly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Josefina Lozano and Carmelo Montanez, both of whom played significant roles in shaping her nurturing spirit, and her brother Alfredo Crespo.

Throughout her life, Hilda found joy in admiring nature, playing dominoes, and sharing cherished moments with her family. There was a warmth in her personality that drew people in, making her a beloved figure in the lives of many.

A memorial service honoring Hilda Montanez Lozano will be held on January 31, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Richard Funeral Services, located at 233 N. 9th Street, Haines City, Florida, 33844.

Her presence will be deeply missed, yet her spirit will continue to inspire resilience and love in her family and friends.

Hilda Montanez Lozano, nacida el 19 de junio de 1950 en San Juan, Puerto Rico, falleció pacíficamente el 26 de enero de 2025 en Haines City, Florida. Fue una persona extraordinaria cuya resiliencia, gran corazón y actitud ante la vida sirvieron de inspiración a todos los que la conocieron. La alegría infinita de Hilda irradiaba de ella mientras se dedicaba tanto a la familia como a la comunidad, ofreciendo siempre ayuda y apoyo donde fuera necesario.


Fue una esposa devota de su esposo, Rubén Cosme, y una madre amorosa de sus hijas, Shirley Cosme y Yamilette Toledo. Hilda se enorgullecía enormemente de su familia y apreciaba los momentos que pasaba con sus nietos: Yamirielys Campbell, Shirleyann Pérez, Yamnel Velez, Julien Toledo y sus bisnietos, Xavier Campbell y Zayden Campbell.
