Jose R. Diaz Aponte

Mr. Jose R. Diaz Aponte, most affectionately known as “Richard” passed away on April 18, 2023 in Auburndale, Florida at the age of 68. He was born on February 13, 1955 in Naguabo, Puerto Rico to his parents, Cirilo Diaz Ramos and Auria Aponte.

Mr. Diaz Aponte later met the love of his life, Carmen G. Lopez. Together they had a blended family of 5 children and shared 46 years of marriage. He worked in construction and later retired to enjoy more fishing, catching crabs, breeding chickens and most of all, spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Auria Aponte and father, Cirilo Diaz Ramos.

Mr. Jose Diaz Aponte leaves his loving wife of 46 years, Carmen G. Lopez; his sons, Jose Ramos, Alfredo Ramos, Jesus A. Rivera; his daughter, Leticia Ramos; his step-daughter, Carmen Rivera; his siblings, Isidro Ramos Aponte, Josefina Ramos Aponte, Marcos A. Diaz Aponte, Pablo Ramos Aponte, Victor L. Ramos Aponte, Juan C. Ramos Aponte, Deliz Ramos Aponte, Cirilo Ramos Aponte, Orlando Ramos Aponte and a host of other family and friends.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, April 24, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Richard Funeral Services 233 North 9^th Street Haines City, FL 33844.
