Julie Marie Bell

Julie Marie Bell, affectionately known to her loved ones as "Jewelz," was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Born on December 25, 1977, in Belize City, Belize, Julie embraced life with an abundance of love and joy. Tragically, she left this world on March 16, 2025, in Haines City, Florida, but her spirit will forever linger in the hearts of her family and friends.

Julie dedicated herself to her career as a phlebotomist, exemplifying her generous spirit by caring for those in need with compassion and skill. Beyond her professional life, it was her vibrant personality that truly defined her. Julie's laughter was infectious, her kindness knew no bounds, and her unwavering love for God formed the foundation of everything she did. She found immense joy in expressing her faith through art, skillfully blending spirituality with creativity. Whether dancing to gospel music or singing wholeheartedly, she radiated happiness and inspired those around her to embrace life's moments.

Her passion for cooking led her to create delicious new recipes that often brought family and friends together. Julie also had a deep love for hair styling, an ultimate passion that brought her immense satisfaction and joy as she transformed others outwardly while uplifting their spirits.

Julie was preceded in death by her grandparents Gwendolyn Zelito Bell and Walter Angus Bell.

Above all, Julie was a devoted mother to her children—Tajmanae Tracey, Shawn Owens, Terrell Dawkins, Trinity, Riddy, and Faith Dawkins. She took great pride in her role as a parent, cherishing every milestone and moment shared with them. Her love extended to her grandchildren—Melanie Tracey, Tremaine Spiers, James Jr., B'yani Spiers, and Kameron Owens—who were the apples of her eye and brought indescribable joy to her life.

Julie is survived by her beloved husband, Willie Hagan. She also leaves behind a formidable support network of family that includes her grandmother, Olive Owens, mother, Rosalia Waiters; father, Ernest Bell; siblings—Starlena Atherley, Snowanda Atherley, Brandon Atherley, Edwin Atherley, Jr., Erik Bell, and Derek Bell; aunts Geraldine Bell, Rosalie Bell, Claudette Bell, Norma Bell, Georgia Bell, Merlene Terry, and Martha Martinez; uncles Leroy Bell, Anthony Bell, Francis Martinez, Stephen Sampson, and Rafael Martinez, Reginald Martinez; and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her cherished church family.

Those who knew Julie will forever remember her generous heart, her ability to create beautiful moments, and her unwavering faith that served as a source of inspiration. A celebration of her remarkable life will be held on March 29, 2025, at Richard Funeral Services in Haines City, Florida. The event will begin at 2:30 PM and will honor the incredible journey that Julie traversed during her years with us.

Though her time on this earth has come to a close, her legacy of love, creativity, and faith will continue to thrive in those she has touched. Rest in peace, dear Jewelz, and know that you will always be loved and deeply missed.
