Lola Mae Powell

Madam Lola Mae Powell passed away on August 6th, 2022. Born in Waverly, Fl. on March 9, 1943 to the parents of Marvin and Callie Miller, Madam Lola enjoyed cooking, crochet, and babysitting. Madam Lola was married to Edward Powell Sr. for 50 plus years. During their union Madam Lola and Edward had a number of kids, Ida (James) Williams, Danetta Powell, Catherine Powell, Willie James Powell, Earl Powell, And Willie Ramar Powell. Madam Lola leaves behind three siblings, Erra Grear, Gloria (Johnnie) Seay, and Linda Irving. A visitation for Madam Lola will be held on Friday, August 19th from 5 to 7 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 20th at 11 a.m. All services will be held at Abundant Believers Church in Winter Haven, Fl.
