Lucius Simpson Jr.

On, May 28, 1957 at 1:59am at Parkview Memorial Hospital Fort Wayne, Indiana Lucius Simpson Jr. made his advent into this world, to the late Lucius Simpson Sr. and Rosa Lee Miller Simpson. As fate would have it, Lucius and his family moved to Florida in 1964. There he received his education in the schools of Marion County. His parents taught him about the Lord Jesus. He was baptized under the pastor ship of the Late Rev. U.L. Ulmer Zion Bethel Baptist Church.

Lucius was a man that wore many hats. Lucius was a loyal son, husband (preceded in death by his wife, Deborah), father, brother and friend. Lucius believed in the ethics of work. Lucius was a family man. Lucius endured to the end.

On Tuesday night, August 22, 2023 at 8:15pm. God called Lucius Home at Gulfport Rehabilitation Center.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Lucius Simpson III (Quenette McDaniel); stepson, Gabriel Jackson; grandkids, Lucius Simpson IV, Aiyanna and Alyvia Simpson; devoted sister, Pamela Simpson; a special friend, Ms. Latreshia G. Webb and a myriad of relatives, friends and associates.

A Mountain Top Experience “6”

God allowed Lucius to climb the mountaintop and behold The Promised Land. (In the Spirit) There Lucius took off his robe (Figuratively speaking) of the cares of this life. There he put on immortality.
