Marcel Terrance Mitchell

Marcel T. Mitchell, most affectionately known as “Cello-madman” passed away on May 16, 2023 at the age of 19 in New Port Ritchey, Florida. He was born on October 16, 2003 in Dunedin, Florida to his parents Jennifer Crenshaw and Ernest Mitchell Jr.

Marcel worked at Zaxby’s as a cook. He enjoyed football, playing video games and hanging out with family and friends.

Marcel was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Carroll and his great-grandmother, Charolette Kniffin.

Mitchell leaves his mother, Jennifer Crenshaw (Deon); his father, Ernest Mitchell Jr. (GiGi); his siblings, Ernest, Maurice, Makayla, Malachi, Keonte, Isaiah, Martin, Teresa; his grandmothers, Kim Roessler (Mark) and Iris Mitchell; his grandfather, Ernest Mitchell Sr.; his aunts, Jackie Gonzalez (Luis), Jamie Ambrose (Doug), Kim Tijerina, Angie Mitchell, his uncle, Lorone Mitchell (Milagros); step-grandmother, Pamela Carroll; his cousins, Bianca, Marissa, Michael, Corbin, Chloe, Amelia, Shavoughn, Kieana, Kemari, Lorone Jr., Andrea, Auriyana, Amiya, Angelle, Carnel, Alexia, Sirl, Ceion, Vonte; his girlfriend, Jade Casale and a host of other relatives and friends to cherish his memories.

The Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Michels & Lundquist Chapel 5228 Trouble Creek Road New Port Ritchey, Florida 34652.
