Marie Denise Auguste, born on May 15, 1958, in Ansrouge, Haiti, and a long-time resident of Haines City, Florida, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2025. A dedicated matriarch, Marie was the foundational anchor of her family, whose unwavering strength and resilience shone brightly throughout her life.

Known for her remarkable ability to nurture and care for those around her, Marie took immense pride in raising her children and cherishing her role as a grandmother. Her commitment to her family was her proudest accomplishment, and she worked tirelessly to ensure their success in all endeavors. Marie's personality was characterized by generosity, patience, understanding, strength, resilience, and an enduring sense of hope. She touched many lives with her compassionate spirit and selfless acts of kindness.

Marie found joy in simple pleasures, whether it was cooking delicious meals, reveling in the company of her family, or enjoying the poignant dramas of "Grey's Anatomy." Her warmth and love created lasting memories that will be cherished by all who had the privilege to know her.

She is survived by her beloved daughters, Joanise Metayer and Marilene Metayer, alongside her cherished grandchildren: Diesha, Jhyvendy, Jhaniya, Jhayani, and Nicko.

Preceding her in death were her mother, Orphice Auguste; father, Yolne Auguste; and siblings: Olivia, Mrs. Engril, Veronique, Miracia, Saint-Martin, Joseline, Tanie, and Rene. Their memories will forever remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

In honor of Marie’s life, a Celebration of Life will be held on March 1, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 705 S 14th St, Haines City, FL 33844, followed by a burial service at 12:30 PM at 4810 Tilden Rd, Winter Haven, FL 33881.

Marie Denise Auguste's legacy of love, compassion, and dedication will continue to inspire those who knew her. Her spirit will live on in her family, who carry the values she instilled within them.
