Our beloved Terah left us unexpectedly after a brief illness. So many family, friends, and colleagues are devastated by this sudden loss.
She was born at Fort Gordon, Georgia while her father was on active duty with the US Navy. Following 8 years as part of a military family, including 2 years in Naples, Italy, she grew up in the town of Payson, Utah, attending Payson High School concurrently with classes at Utah Valley University. She also attended two years at Southern Utah University and then completed her undergraduate business degree at Lewis Clark State College. In 2018 she completed her MBA with a 3.98 gpa at Southern Wesleyan University while working in a highly responsible position as a Payroll Tax Trainer and caring for her young family. Terah was a nationally recognized expert in payroll tax and was Director of Payroll Tax at G&A Partners at the time of her passing. She started her career in the industry following her family legacy in financial services.
Terah grew up very involved in the Girl Scouts, dance, gymnastics, and achieved a brown belt in Kenpo Karate. She spent many summers at camp and enjoying outdoor adventures. She loved working with kids as a camp counselor in training and as a nanny. She also was a Program Director at Campfire Camp. While in college, she interned at Walt Disney World, developing a lifelong love for all things Disney.
Terah loved her family dearly and devoted her life to providing for them and teaching them values of love and serving others. She loved exploring theme parks, museums, science centers, and taking cruises with her family.
Terah is survived by her husband, Vicat Mauricio, step daughter Ariel, and two sons, Tristen and Christian, as well as her parents, Michael Bradford, Sr (Christine) and Cheryl Thomas, and siblings Jessie Ibrahim, Michael Bradford, Jr and Rebecca Crookston (David MacKay), 4 nieces and 7 nephews.
Everyone loved Terah’s thoughtfulness, giving heart and her infectious smile. She strived to live up to the values of her Girl Scout childhood, making the world a better place because of her sojourn in it.
