Valengo Mesidor

Mr. Valengo Mesidor was born on December 3, 1943, In Southern Department of Haiti in Commune of Kay Morris Saint Louis olee Suol. Born to his mother, Shelila Lavine and father, Teligene Mesidor.

As a young man, he started working as a fisherman. He started dating Rose Levita on August 29, 1998. They wed and started a family, having 5 children: Vanel, Guerline, Manize, Mesiolor, Roosevelt and Vanitte. In the early year of 1977, life started getting harder by having to care for family. On July 5^th, he left Haiti by boat. After being released from the camp, he went to Bell Glade, Florida. There he started working in the Sugar Cane fileds and 15 years later he went up north and started to work as a fruit picker. He remained there until the early 2000, returning to Haines City, Florida. He then went to Disney World to work in the culinary department for 20 years. Suddenly, his health began to deteriorate and he passed away on March 17, 2024. 

Mr. Valengo was a very cordial, hard-working man, and loving father. He was a giving person and loved to share. He enjoyed casual walks, chatting it up around the neighborhood, playing cards and dominoes with friends and family. He loved attending church at Beraca First Haitian Baptist Church. He was truly loved by everyone.

Mr. Valengo Mesidor is preceded in death by his mother, Shelila Lavine; his father, Teligene Mesidor; his children, Vanitte Mesidor and Housel Mesidor, and his brother, Saint Julio Mesidor.

He leaves to cherish his legacy his loving wife of over 20 years, Rose Levita Mesidor; his children, Michelene Mesidor, Lisyene Mesidor, Erick Mesidor, Vanel Mesidor, Kerline Mesidor, Manise Mesidor; his siblings, Elita Mesidor, Elisnord Mesidor, Elige’ne Mesidor, Acelhomme Mesidor, Thermilhomme Mesdior, Julio Mesidor, Johnny Mesidor, Therese Mesidor; other relatives, Vanite Mesidor, Avena Montina, Yvenite Montina, Fabienne Montina, Armelle Montina, Roossel Mesidor, Michelene Mesidor, Vanel Mesidor, Noah Stacy Mesidor, Jordy Vasseley Mesidor, Lucienne Mesidor, Nocksonn Nogaius, Micaldo Nogaius, Bolatina Nogaius, Soublina Nogaius, Mithesaina Nogaius, Guerline Mesdior, Asheley Cacoule, Manize Mesidor, Jonh Markenly Maceus, Djoulisha Grace Maceus, Mike Aleandro Maceus, Eric Mesidor, Sara Mesidor, Ruhte Saradinia Mesidor, Moise Mesdior, Donwesley Mesidor, Djhouvenson Mesidor and a host of family members and friends.

A Visitation for Mr. Mesidor will be held on Friday, March 29, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Richard Funeral Services 233 North 9th Street Haines City, FL 33844. The Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Beraca First Haitian Baptist Church 1300 26th Street Haines City, FL 33844.
