At the tender age of 8, Samuel Richard Jr. found peace and solace comforting family and friends while they mourned the loss of a loved one. He would listen attentively to the person as they recalled precious memories of their deceased loved one and would think to himself it would be great to recreate those memories. This led to the fruition of Richard Funeral Services and Samuel’s passion to serve others by offering professional and personalized services at an affordable cost.

In 2020, Samuel had no idea that he would be opening up a funeral home in the midst of a global pandemic. While this was a time of great uncertainty, he stayed true to his mission and dedicated to serving. Today, Richard Funeral Services has a strong online presence as families rave about the staff’s attention to detail, ability to infuse the personality of their deceased loved one into the service, and memorable keepsakes that are given at the end of every service.

Although Richard Funeral Services is relatively new, Mr. Richard has over 20 years of professional experience and is looking forward to serving the families within Polk County, FL and surrounding areas.
